How to Move Items Between Lists
A powerful SpeedList feature is the ability to quickly and easily move items between lists.
Moving is always performed in three steps:
(1)Navigate to the source list.
(2)Select the items to move.
(3)Select the destination list.
The items selected in (2) are moved to the destination list. The three steps are described in detail below where the screenshots are from a session where items from a “Food Shopping (Master List)” are moved to better organize the master list.
(1) Navigate to the Source List
Use the “back” button and select sub-lists to navigate to the desired source list. The move operation will cut items from this list and paste them into a list chosen in step 3. In the following screenshot the destination list is empty.
(2) Select the Items to Move
Tap the “Action” button and then the “Move” button to initiate the move operation.

(3) Select the Destination List
SpeedList initially shows the top-most lists. Drill down to the desired destination list by expanding the right-side chevrons as necessary. Only lists are shown. Tap on the desired destination list.
Lists that are not valid destinations are not selectable. (For example, one cannot move a list to one of its sub-lists.) The chosen list will have an arrow indicator. Change the selection by tapping on a different list.
When the “Done” button is tapped the source items will be cut from their original list and they will be pasted to the destination list.
In our example, the ice cream and Halloween candy now join cookies in the “Sweets” list.
A view will appear that asks for a set of items and sub-lists to move. In this example we want to move some sweets from “Miscellaneous” to “Sweets”. We navigate to the miscellaneous items by expanding right-side chevrons as necessary. Items and sub-lists are selected by taping on their selection icons. Note that individual items or entire sub-lists can be selected.
We now have ice cream and Halloween candy marked for being moved. Tapping the “Move To” button takes SpeedList to a screen where the destination list is chosen.
