How to Reorder Items in a List

There are three ways to rearrange items in a list:

1. Manually
   

2. Alphabetically
   

3. By Completion Status

Manual

The manual technique allows you to fully specify the order of the items in a list.  Tap the "Edit" button to enter edit mode.  The list should change to show gray bars to the right of each item.  Press and hold on the grey bars of the item you want to move.  Wait for the item to “raise up” and then drag it to the position you want.  Tap the "Done" button to exit out of edit mode.

Automatic

When viewing a particular list, its items and sub-lists can be automatically sorted by first tapping on the "Actions" button and then choosing to sort alphabetically (icon on the left) or by completion status (icon on the right).

Sorting by completion status causes completed items to be moved to the bottom of the list.
